We're proud to announce that The Art Institute of Phoenix’s student leaders have come together to organize their first Holiday Drive! The students have selected HomeBase Youth Services as the organization they would like to help this holiday season. Please join them in their efforts to spread holiday cheer throughout our community.
“Did you know... there are thousands of homeless youth living each day on the streets of Arizona? Most have fled mentally and physically abusive situations. Some are disabled. All are poor, lacking life’s most basic needs of food, clothing and shelter. All are forced to try to survive on the streets, most with parents who don’t care or can’t take care of them.”
HomeBase Youth Services is an Arizona-based non-profit agency founded in 1991 to address the growing needs of at-risk and homeless youth 21 years and younger in Arizona. Programs include: Early Intervention/Prevention, Street Outreach, Medical Outreach, Transitional Living, Independent Living, Employment and Life/Skills and a Learning Center for street kids to earn their GEDs.
