Say Anything: Raise the Bar!

Do you ever get frustrated when a client comes back to you and hates your design or informs you 'It's just not working,' giving you no explanation or direction as to where you went wrong? Maybe you just completed 20 different versions of a logo and the client goes in an entirely new direction, or picks your least favorite? Well we want to hear about it. Let's discuss the trashed piece and let the Say Anything group offer suggestions as to how you can Raise the Bar!
The keys to making this session work are cooperation and participation. All attendees must bring an example of their criticized work or a sob story about an experience with a client.
Say Anything is an open forum and discussion for independent designers, business owners, freelancers etc. Fervor Creative in Scottsdale, will be hosting the event for the next few months. The topics will change from month to month, ranging from: contracts, pricing, marketing, finances, taxes, and other business issues. This event is open to members and non-members, with the free incentive offered only to AIGA members.
Please RSVP to Kelli Campbell at programs@arizona.aiga.org. AIGA Members FREE! Non-Members $5. If you RSVP but are unable attend, PLEASE email your cancellation by Monday, May 9th. Say Anything is always a packed house, and we can offer your seat to another eager person if you let us know in time.
