Faculty Associate needed to teach class on campus (ASU Polytechnic) for the spring 2014 semester. This class is an introduction to 2D-3D game art for video games. Areas covered: classic pixel art, seamless texturing and tiling, sprite animation, 3D virtual studio, box modeling. Class meets twice weekly.
Minimum qualifications are a Bachelors Degree in graphics and/or game design and working knowledge of modeling and animation techniques (Autodesk Maya 3D) and raster and vector content creation and at least 1 year industry experience. Preferred is a Masters in these areas and/or 3 + years industry experience and teaching experience.
