This position works collaboratively with the graphic design team in an agency-style marketing department. Supports the public relations, outreach center, advertising and web development teams. Produces marketing collateral and promotional materials to advocate for Rio Salado College initiatives through various channels. Works with fellow designers, other marketing team members and internal clients from various departments.

60% – Conceptualizes and designs creatives with deadlines for marketing collateral, brand identity, advertisements, illustrations and web graphics; outlets include overall branding, print and web advertising campaigns, radio ads, outdoor advertising, web site and social media; responsible for developing concepts and producing creatives in support of Rio Salado’s overall marketing objectives.
15% – Collaborates with the graphic design team as well as other teams to brainstorm and translate concepts into effective tangible marketing collateral.
15% – Produces high quality creatives from conceptual ideas to post-production.
10% – Provides great customer service; maintains professional relationships with internal and external clients; researches, evaluates and recommends new technology, software, design practices, skills and techniques to improve overall marketing objectives at Rio Salado College.
