FLASH ANIMATOR: 01.18.07

This on-site contractor position will be responsible for the development of educational content and media components using Flash animation and motion graphics under the supervision of the Animation/Illustration Supervisor.  This position requires a strong knowledge of and experience with the Adobe Suite of products, especially Flash MX or Flash 8, Illustrator, and Photoshop. 

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Producing illustrations and 2D animations for a variety of media components;
• Developing storyboards and briefs detailing animations and motion graphics required from a variety of vendors;
• Integrating different media types into cohesive libraries?:
• Accumulating required knowledge necessary to assist in the creation of new design concepts, animations, and illustrations for new products;
• Tracking progress on all assigned tasks and updating manager as required.

 Qualifications for this position include:

• Advanced Flash animation, motion graphics, and production skills.
• Experience with interface design and layout.
• Extremely well organized and detail oriented.
• Excels in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Willingness to adapt to existing visual styles while developing new ones.
