Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator: 05.07.07

Growing commercial real estate company in South Tempe is seeking an in-house FT (M-F 8:30-5:30pm) graphic designer/marketing coordinator. Responsible for designing and creating various print and advertising projects from conception to final layout. Amends designed materials, as needed, per specifications. Proofs, edits and double checks all materials prior to production. Finalizes artwork and routes creative material to various vendors. Develops, designs and maintains all company websites and email marketing. Responsible for photography and graphics that will be used with marketing collateral. The ideal candidate would also have Marketing & Public Relations experience. Real Estate background a plus!
 
Skills/Requirements:
  • Must have experience in graphic design with full knowledge of design principles and formats.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of design programs such as  – Quark 7.0, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, PhotoShop, InDesign, Acrobat), FrontPage, HTML and Macromedia Design Studio (Dreamweaver, Flash Web, Freehand).
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail a must. Must be able to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a variety of people.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn new applications.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Production of artwork to meet marketing goals & objectives
  • Creates and maintains company website
  • Ability to develop and write press materials (news releases, bio’s, fact sheets, etc). Distribute press materials to local or national contacts in the print and online media.
  • Develops and implements effective marketing communication programs through direct mail, newspaper, email and other marketing channels
  • Collaborates with vendors as well as internal departments to support overall company objectives
  • Assists with corporate branding for high-impact marketing materials and can easily lead projects from beginning to end and can identify additional opportunities for marketing promotions.
  • Identify key contacts with the media and community for public relations efforts to achieve press coverage
  • Writes/edits copy for a wide range of marketing projects
