SENIOR INTERACTIVE DESIGNER: 02.28.07

A successful, Phoenix-based graphic design and branding firm is seeking a Senior Interactive Designer to join our team. As a savvy, strategic-thinker, you will serve as design lead on web site development and multimedia installations. Strong leadership skills are required to manage internal creative teams as well as external technology partners. This position plays a large role within our integrated approach to branding initiatives, so experience in how interactive media plays with overall brand strategy is essential. • 5+ years interactive design experience
• Work closely with creative team to design and produce web sites and multimedia installations
• Able to assist account management to accurately estimate design and production requirements
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Management:

• Serves as design lead and manages technical partner(s) as needed
• Understanding of the role interactive media plays with overall branding strategy
• Able to define web site maintenance requirements
• Able to define usability and accessibility requirements
• Assist in client education
• Ability to gather and analyze project requirements / goals and develop practical strategic recommendations
• Excellent documentation skills (wireframes, site maps, functional specifications, use cases, interactive prototypes)

Technology:

• Understand how interface integrates with back-end components, including content management systems, personalization tools, search, etc.
• Understand appropriate use of web technologies (Flash, XML, DHTML, JavaScript, Server-side scripting, etc.)

Skills Requirements:

• Proficient in Flash & Actionscripting
• Able to hand-code HTML & CSS
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Animation, illustration and print skills are a plus
