About the role:

DollarDays is seeking an entry level Graphic Designer who will work with partners to provide innovative creative thinking and be a key contributor to the Marketing Creative Team in a fast-paced environment. The designer will be responsible for providing timely, consistent, and high-quality design work and templates under strict deadlines. They will conceptualize and execute fully integrated marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the company’s vision, mission, & values. The focus is on production, asset development for website, e-mails, circulars, digital media: social and paid channels and platforms, and more. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bringing the concept from briefing, through production, to final delivery. A thorough knowledge of design, exceptional eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to quickly execute projects from ideation to completion. This candidate must be able to implement established brand guidelines while keeping abreast of the latest design technologies and trends.

What You’ll Do:

Collaborate with merchandising, sales, and marketing teams to transition written and verbal briefs into creative concepts, layouts, and designs.
Design key marketing collateral across core physical and digital assets, including advertisements, banners, brochures, catalogs, sell sheets, packaging, displays and labels, mailers, social media posts, affiliate digital advertisements, web imagery, wireframes/mockups, banners, videos, and presentations.
Help coordinate product photography and videography shoots to optimize creative archives.
Reformat and resize existing ads, images and other miscellaneous artwork.
Assist in the A/B testing of emails and digital advertisements to optimize user experience and drive customer conversion rates.
Be a self-starter that actively tracks and manages time/projects in the project management software. Manage the archiving of design and marketing files.
Various production tasks as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree required
0-2 years of experience in graphic design job or internship
Prior B2B ecommerce experience preferred
Photography experience preferred
Skills and Abilities:

Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong design portfolio
Experience with developing and/or modifying HTML and CSS
Understanding of corporate branding, layout, color theory and typography in both print and digital mediums
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects of varying complexities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organization and communication skills
Ability to follow creative direction, maintain brand standards and work both collaboratively and independently
Must be able to demonstrate resourcefulness, accountability and outstanding attention to detail
Video Editing, Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro X experience a plus.
