Marketing Coordinator – RSP Architects

Someone capable of translating the design story from any one of our architects or interior designers and creating a compelling, unique marketing collateral, proposals and presentations that celebrate our brand, people and projects.

We need a strategic thinker who works well with others, can write, has a strong design aesthetic, ability to multi-task, and develop deep market insights. A creative problem solver who is energized by deadlines. Ideal candidate has industry related experience and/or passion for architecture and design. The position will interact with our internal project teams, telling visual stories through proposals, interview presentations, qualifications pieces and other materials to assist the firm in winning work. A commitment to a high level of performance and creativity with a do-whatever it takes attitude preferred.

Job responsibilities include:
Coordinate efforts to meet the needs of immediate and long-term marketing initiatives and marketplace development within Arizona and other offices as requested.
Coordinates, produces, and delivers RFQ/RFP responses, qualifications, presentation graphics, award submittals, press releases and other firm marketing and business development materials including content development, graphics and layout.
Develops original copy/content on projects through direct interaction with project teams. Assists project teams in development on copy as it relates to scope and delivery.Works with projects teams to strategically determine go/no go decisions based on prescribed criteria.
Assist team with interview preparation and content to support pursuits.
Ensures quality of proposals and marketing collateral printing with our Printroom team.
Ensures collateral materials are consistent with company standards and brand image.
Assist with data management including updating employee, project, and pursuit content/data within CRM database.
Track finished projects and assist in coordinating project photography and internal headshot photography.
Works with the team on events, technology set up for presentations and meetings and other tasks as assigned.
Assist in research of target marketing and clients as needed.
Participate in industry specific professional organizations (e.g. SMPS).

Excellent writing skills with the ability not only to edit, but to connect the dots to generate narratives that link our project teams to the unique needs of their clients. Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, composition and proofreading skills.
Sophisticated graphic sensibility.
The ability to read and understand requests for proposals (RFPs) and qualifications in order to organize and develop a written response with attention to detail.
Excellent organization and project management skills with an ability to think strategically as well as tactically.
Proven time management to deliver within a schedule-driven proposal process with tight turnaround times.
Clear ability to manage, motivate, and work upstream and downstream with all levels of staff, including senior management.
Solid listening and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and be organized within an often interruptive environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, driven and a team player.
Availability to be flexible with working hours when proposal demands/events deem necessary.
Experience and/or interest in the architecture and design industry.
A curiosity to continually build knowledge on assigned market sectors.

Education and Experience:
Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a related field; architectural, design or marketing environment.
Previous experience responding to RFPs and RFQs with proven ability to manage a schedule driven proposal process preferred, but not required.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite specifically InDesign and Photoshop.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
